Production - Experience
Highlights From My Entire Experience of This Short Film
This scene was supposed to be the Point of View of a stranger trying to kidnap her.
Unfortunately, The cameraman was focusing on the camera screen and did not
realize how close the distance was.
From this painful experience, beware of the distance while shooting Close up shot or Extreme Close up.
Lucky no one was badly injured! =)

GOOD TAKE
Even though We had a permission to film in the tube station but for sure the filming process will make people feel uncomfortable. Shooting in a public place is a bit frustrated, It's hard to predict when is going to be crowded or the people will look directly to the camera which is a natural reaction when people know that we are filming.
This scene was at the entrance of tube station, We had to get the less crowded moment in order to get the perfect scene. The best we could do was to get ready anytime when it's not crowded and we shot few more takes just to be safe.
=)
Pre-Prod / Preparation
As a Director/Producer for this film, I needed to prepare most of the materials such as the script, props, location, documents, storyboard, cast/crew and etc...
I've requested and submitted all the forms included fifty pounds, Script, Passport Copy, and a form of current policy of insurance from Middlesex University. Thanks to Mr.David Heinemann for sending me the form. After 2weeks Later, I've received a letter and confirmation permit from Underground Film Office. Period of time to shoot is 1month.
- Props
I went to camden town purposely to find a nice hair clip, as this is the main object of the film
Some pictures that I took and modified with photoshop
- StoryBoard / Recee trip
This is Wembley Station, I've chosen this station for one of my scenes because it is open air and we are able to shoot day and night. There are few selection of platform and entrances to choose so that I could shoot with few different views and angle as a camera trick by using the same station to save cost and time.
The difference of recce trip and on actual filming day.
Towel Bridge as one of the scenes in my short film.
Scene of The Accident
Ending scene
All the Locations are :
- Towel Bridge
- Wembley Station
- Writtle House
- Colindale
- Middlesex University Recording Studio
- Hyde Park
- Leicester Square
- West Kensington
